Best excuse you've used to continue gaming

What is the best excuse you've used to continue another hour or day of gaming. When I bought Metroid Prime I told my secretary at work that I was 100miles away from work and that I was not going to be able to make it.

I always tell my friends that I have a lot of midterms coming up so I won't be able to go out. I usually say that when I'm in the middle of a dungeon in Ocarina of Time.

I always use the "oh, I just need to get to the next save spot" trick with my fiance, when in fact I just saved the game and am sneaking in another hour of gaming. In fact I just used it yesterday when she wanted to leave for the store.

Everybody around me knows that I am in school. So I always say that I have to "study". It is very broad, and they never question it., rockin!

I've certainly used the "save point" excuse, but lately I've been playing a lot of Guild Wars, so I tell my wife how the other 5-7 people in my party are counting on me (even if I'm using henchmen!)

Save point excuse definately. Also, the "I'll be done in like 5 minutes" schtick seems to work most of the time.

Definitely have used the I dont feel good enough to go out method and "need to get to a save point" method.
