the one game to play while waiting for a new one

what is the one game you always play when waiting for a new game to be released/ wages to purchase said new games

for me it's ring of red on the ps2.. it's not the greatest of games but those long battles help take away some of the time i have to wait....

before ring of red was released it was allways super mario world on the snes

Hmmm......overall it would most likely be Gran Turismo 2, but it depends on the system. It would either be a racer or crawler.

If I am waiting for a new game to come out, 9 out of 10 times it is a sequel, so I will play the prequels to the game over and over again until the new game comes out. For instance, I have been playing tony hawk underground 2 like crazy lately since I won't have the money for the new one until friday

Any of the last 3 GTA games, thats one reason why its so good:
You can spend 5 minutes on it or 5 hours on it if you felt like it.

Star Ocean for Super Famicom always acts as my in-between game. My goal is to hit level 255 someday, but it's SO slow going in that game that I just work on it a little now and then when I'm in between games or too busy to seriously play through something.

I always find myself going back to Disgaea or FFTactics. I've completed them both, but they are always fun games to go back to for a battle or two.

Exactly what I do. Even though I dont buy that many new games anymore.

While waiting for the funds for games, I usually pop in a RPG of any sort. Even if it is just leveling up for those difficult boss fights, it still passes the time.
