    Default Radiant Silvergun Import Question

I was wondering if anyone happens to own Radiant Silvergun JP and has one of those memory cards that allows your US Sega Saturn to play imports. I know the memory carts have compatibility issues with some imports. Any one know if this one worked fine???

I've got RS and an EMS Action Replay 4M Plus (according to the label)...a 1meg/4meg expansion, import converter, memory cart and cheat device, and it works perfectly fine with every import I own, and I've been using it for the past 7 years

Do you have X-Men VS Street Fighter? I had this cart and returned it b/c some of the animation was glitchy. I use the ST key which hasn't given me a problem with RS or any other import. I don't use it much anymore b/c i picked up a Japanese SS a couple years ago.

I have used the AR with about every X men vs SF, Marvel vs SF, SFZ3 and Radiant and they all work great. Once in a while the connectors on the card don't get in the slot properly and you need to pull it out and put it back in. But this setup has worked well for years now.

I do have it, and it works fine...could be a different software version on my AR though.

Your cart needs to be modified...

Honestly you should just hardmod a US model 2 Saturn with a switch.

If you look at the top of my white saturn, you will see the PAR with a silver switch attatched to the upper right of it.

Cutting the trace and putting in the jumper as explained in the link I provided in my first post works fine. The problem with the older carts (and sometimes even new orders get those old carts) was that for some games it wouldn't work as both a converter cart AND a 4M RAM expansion cart.

And to get it out of the way now, the reason it won't run King of Fighters '95 is because the special cart that came with King of Fighters '95 isn't really a RAM expansion - it contains all the fighter sprites so that the Saturn memory only has to deal with what is currently required. Play King of Fighters '95 on a US system? That's why you hardmod with a US/JPN region switch.

    It's a ROM cart. Kinda cool. I don't have it b/c i'm not a big KOF fan.
