Default Nintendo brand 72 pin connectors

Ive perchased a couple of the generic 72 pin replacements on Ebay, and they shit on me pretty quickly.
Now my Mom wants me to fix her NES again. Does anyone have any of the Nintendo brand ones?
I would be interested in buying 2 or more if anyone has some extra ones.

Nintendo has a "Nintendo brand" 72 pin adaptor? Anyone have pictures? I'm very curious about that!

By the way, I use a third party one but I have yet to have one fail on me. If you're interested, PM me.

What he is talking about are the OEM connectors that were made by Nintendo and not by a third party company. Nintendo supplied their Authorized Repair Centers with them. I picked up several after I bought out a couple of repair centers and they are MUCH better than the aftermarket versions from Ebay. They are ZIF, so you don't need the jaws of life to get a cart out. I have sold several and still have some left. Also, goatdan, if you have never had a third party NES connector fail, you are VERY VERY lucky. The MCM brand connectors have a very high fail rate. There have been numerous discussions on here about them. You can check my feedback for some of the comments about the OEM connectors.

I've heard this from a lot of people, and I don't know if I'm doing something different when I install them or if I am just really lucky, but I've only used third party ones (I'm not sure which third party though) and so far have had a success with more than 65 replacements.

You do need the jaws of life to extract the carts though, and I purposely don't work them out, but I explain to people that I sell to why it is so tight and that if they just work with it, it should work. So far, again 65 sells have not come back with any complaints.

*shrug* I'm sure that now that I've said this, I'll have 65 duds before I get another working one

I bought an third-party pin, and it is VERY tough to get the game in and out. I haven't gotten anymore for my other NES's because of that reason. I would be interested in 2 of these. How much do they usually cost? More than third-party I assume.

Why are people so lazy? I took my nes apart, cleaned it...and made sure the games I put in it were spick and span also..thats all u have to do...unless its a rare case...either people just dont know that, or they are lazy...dont know which one.
