Default Game.com games -- late releases, or NRs?

    Just thought I'd ask...

A while back someone claimed in a newsgroup that he'd found Madden and Castlevania for Game.Com at a local Sam's Club. Of course, he never offered proof of it, but rather than assuming he was mistaken, or lying, I thought I'd put it to the group here -- has anyone seen those games that can offer proof that they exist?

I've never seen them or otherwise heard anything about them. If Tiger had produced them, you'd think they would have been offered online through their site rather than through Sam's Club...

    Probably just more hearsay
Selling collection, Atari through XBox. Send a PM with whatever games you're looking for.

    Default no

AFAIK, the furthest Castlevania or Madden got was a few screenshots in the Game.com catalog, along with some other games like Metal Gear.

Tiger had a demo of Madden at E3 back in '97. I think it was a non-playable demo, but I can't say for sure. I do remember looking at it and shaking my head in disbelief. I don't remember seeing a Castlevania demo but I seem to recall a disply box in their booth the following year. Everyone I was with thought I was nuts, but I actively sought out the Game.com booth the first year. I still think in the pre-PocketPC days it could have had potential, too bad they couldn't get decent programmers to work on it. Damn good version of Solitaire with the touch screen though.
