Default snes super probotector in an american case

i bought this sometime ago from ebay, and i had been meaning to take piccies of the board to see if anyone can help me fully work out whats what.... the game itself is super probotector, which is the euro name for the game contra 3, the characters are the robots rather than the humans... i have to use and american to uk machine convertor to be able to play this game, even though i have the english cart.. im not too sure if this will run on an american machine as it stands, im still waiting to get my american machine back from a friend

i got the cart open, and this is the actual cart with the rom board inside, not too sure if anyone knows whats what here, but maybe this is of interest

here is a pic of the rom, notice the chipsets which have the labels snp pr 0 and snp pr 1.. the side of the board says eprom.. im not sure if the board is a different size or look to an english super probotector as i dont have a gamebit screwdriver to open my english cart

here is a slightly bigger pic of the rom itself, im sorry for the poor qualities of the pics, scanner is on the fritz at the moment, but shall get scans when i can

i remember released snes games being a little smaller than this board (my mate crack a few useless carts years ago) but alas im not completly sure

if anybody can inform me if this is a genuine proto i would be most happy

actually the misprint on the label says superp robotector

so are you being genuine that it's a rare proto, or am i receivinga hint of cynical sarcasm?

It's true. Some folks have said he's yummy at Easter.

Adam, is that a peep with it's head bit off in your avatar?

Nope, just a butter blob, the symbol of all that is wrong and....ah, forget it.

Though it does look like a peep sans its head, don't it.

    Hey bazariah,

Did you ever play the proto? before you put it back up on ebay? i'm just interested, in how the title screen looked was it the Contra 3 screen, or the super Probotector screen, and were the main charaters robots or men?

sorry for all the questions :P
