    ok you techy arcade machine geniouses*sp?* i just got a galaxian machine i play and im like this isnt galaga haha der on my part anywho do galaxian machines and galaga machines have the same setting so i could just buy a galaga board and swap it in ??? please advise ...or if not is there an adapter any websites or hepp is greatly apreciated thank you!

    IIRC, Galaxian and Galaga are two different conversions, so unless the machine has already been modified, you wouldn't be able to just swap out Galaga boards.

    Search google for the Galaxian and Galaga wiring diagrams; if nothing else, you should be able to find the wiring harness info and some other help there or on http://www.klov.com

    I'd recommend keeping the Galaxian machine as is though. You don't see enough of them around these days, and it's got more personality than Galaga.

    is it possible for me to then change the wiring harness? sorry this is totally greek to me just i bought it thinking galaxian was galaga i know i know brain fart i like how galaga has levels not the same thing over n over it gets repetitive and my machine whoever had it before spray painted the sides black you can see the decals but it doesnt look good =( but yeah any help with wiring n stuff is apreciated

    if i replace the wiring harness with a galaga harness everything else would be good to go??? i dont wanna change my galaxian board at all i just wanna find some way to take it out and throw a galaga board in with minimal changes

    I may be wrong on this one, but I'm almost certain you cannot simply change the wiring harness and have Galaga running in your Galaxian cabinet. Galaxian doesn't have a serperate power supply PCB, but Galaga does (Galaxian converts the AC to DC right on the PCB like Pacman as I recall). To get Galaga running in that cabinet, you'd pretty much end up rewiring the whole thing.
