I just got an NTSC CD32, and I think it's an interesting system. I had no idea this thing even made it to the Staes (no matter how porly advertised and distributed.) I haven't had TOO many problems yet with PAL/NTSC issues, but we shall see (keeps fingers crossed.)
QUESTION... Did any games really push the CD32 hardware? A lot of the games seem like SNES games with CD sound and FMV tacked on.
Guardian seems like (very early) 32-bit with its basic polygonal graphics... could the CD32 do more? More detail? Shading or texture mapping perhaps?
Alien Breed 3D seems like a pretty good DOOM clone that couldn't have been done on the Sega CD or the SNES, no matter how many FX chips you stuffed into it.
Can anyone recommend some CD32 games that really showed what the system could do?
THANKS!
