Default Wild Arms: Alter Code F

Maybe it's too soon...maybe I'll jinx it.....maybe things will happen and the game will get delayed ONCE AGAIN, as it's allready been delayed more times then a WD game.....

But all the information I can find online indicates that the remake of Wild Arms for the PS2, one of my FAVORITE RPG's from the original PlayStation, is STILL on for a 11/16 release!

FINALLY! After almost TWO YEARS from the Japanese release, I was REALLY starting to give up hope.

I've had this game on pre-order at my local EB for 18 months now!

I have information from a insider source (can't say who or where) that the original translation of the game was done by a couple of fanboys and was SO bad it had to be tossed and started all over again with new people, leading to one of the main reasons for the delay. Still, it can't be the only reason. I know Agtec (releasing the US version) is a small company, but still....

In any case....if anyone DOES get the game on Wed, or sees it in stores, or knows of someone who did get the game that you trust, post here....so I know if I need to drive down to my EB store before work.

Gamestop lists it as in stock right now.

And I'm with ya, I heard about it's release and have had it on my want list virtually since the PS2 came out!

Well, no call from EB, so I'm going to err on the side of caution and just go down tommorow. Chances are they probaly just have'nt had a chance to call yet, but until someone actually HAS the game in hand I'm not going to believe it.

I also saw the guide but no game today at my local EB while picking up Mario Kart DS. I didn't ask for the game though, so I'm not sure if they had it or not.

I've also been anticipating this one for a while, but I'll be waiting a little while longer on it since I want the new Dragon Quest first, unless someone comes on here and tells me the WA is way better.

Hell, I'm gonna go snag a Wild ARMs as soon as I can now that I know it's out. That's just insane how long it's been....
