Default Reserve Auctions and Bid Retractions

What's everyone's opinion on bidders bidding up an auction until they find out what the reserve is and then retract their bids once they know the amount? I had someone do this to one of my auctions recently and honestly it annoyed me.

Ive never done it before, but its obvious when you look at the bid histories if someone has actually has done that. Ive had that happen once or twice to my auctions. Very very rarely do I ever put a reserve on my auctions.

I would report him to ebay for an invalid bid retraction, then block him as a bidder. Perhaps even post his ebay user name here so others may block him, if they so wish.
I believe 3 invalid bid retractions earns you a suspension(so long as they are reported).

Bid retractions are my biggest pet peeve.
