Mario Kart has been getting all the attention lately, but I grabbed this one too. Friend code:

Are you serious. If this is true. Boo. A better system should have been thought up then that.

    That is correct.

By the way, this game rocks. The graphics are really fantastic looking. You have to see it in motion to really appreciate it. My only complaint is that the number of stages seems to be relatively limited compared to, say, THUG2 for PSP. Also, it's striking me as not terribly difficult so far, and I'm in the 3rd area on Pro mode. But that could be because I've played quite a few games in the series already, and also because I played all the way through THUG2 on my PSP with that deplorable d-pad, and thus got pretty good at controlling the game.

The online features in this game are very extensive - even more so than Mario Kart. There are online score boards (accessible both in game and via a web browser), replay uploading, multiplayer, new goals to download and play, etc.

I was thinking about picking up American Wasteland, but this one seems to be getting more praise than its console counterpart. I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, it's a very striking departure from the style of the series in the past, so it makes for a nice refreshing change. It's totally abandoned the "Jackass With Skateboards" idea, and now it's more like playing a comic book.

It looks like a ton of fun. Toon shading, 60 fps and Online!

Anyone Wonder about the GBA version?
