"Friends" PS2 Trivia Game?!

I was at Wal-Mart today and looked to see if it was there...just out of curiosity. They didn't have the Friends game but they did have The Bible Game (there's a separate thread going on about that game). No, I didn't buy it or any games today.

QoF and I are doing our game trawl tomorrow. I'll see about remembering to count the number of copies of this we spot. I don't think it will reach double figures (and we will probably go to 30+ stores).

The one piece of Friends trivia that I remember is that Chandler peed on Monica's leg after she got stung by a jellyfish. You can use that little tidbit to your advantage, because I know everyone here is going to get a copy of the game.

We spoke to a friend who manages an EB Games in the area about the game. She told us it's been cancelled. Evidently she knew about the game coming out and didn't even have to go look up to see when we asked her.

So if someone actually saw it on a shelf... I'd advise to go grab it!

That sounds strange. If a game was cancelled, how could it have made it into stores? I would have to doubt the person who claimed that.

Perhaps you misunderstood...could it simply be that that particular EB Games simply cancelled their order and won't be getting any in? I'm purrplexed now. :/

She said that according to her computer at the store, it was cancelled due to "lack of interest." She might have meant that none of the EB Games were going to carry it.

Yeah, we saw the Bible Game at several stores today actually. But no copies of the Friends game.

I figure EB may not be carrying it, considering it DOES exist as per this eBay auction (and the picture is of a real item not a stock photo)...

I think the person's story about the game being cancelled might have some merit...

I've been looking for this for my fiancee this week, and I can't find it anywhere. GameStop doesn't even acknowledge its existsnce, and a few stores went as far as to think that I made the game up. Amazon doesn't even have it available right now...I'm beginning to think this could end up being a real rarity.

The Friends Trivia game is out. I've seen numberous copies of it at various Meijers in the Cincinnati area.

I also know for a fact, that a certain board member (Oobgarm) purchased this game, and I proceeded to get drunk and play it. I lost and oddly enough I used to watch Friends.

Yes, the game does indeed exist. As I mentioned, I ordered it and it arrived not long after that. Some stores may not stock it but that just means they don't think it will sell well for them.

All of my local Game Crazies got exactly one copy a piece, so if you have those in your area, you should check them out. I haven't seen the game anywhere else, though, and I've looked.

it seems whenever a discussion of the Guy Game comes up anywhere on the net, this is the main point that people make against the game. I seriously don't understand it though (for guys of age at least). Why *wouldn't* people want to see naked chicks in video games? It's okay to for people to download mountains of porn off the net and watch awful soft-core porn on late night cable but people throw a stink fit when tits are in their video games. Doesn't make any sense considering how popular breasts are in the United States.

Ding. I rented this ages ago with some friends and it wasn't all that bad. It was no worse than an average budget title, but instead of muddy first-gen quality graphics you get to see sightly grainy videos of tits. Either way, there's no way humanly possible it's worse than the Friends game (or the show for that matter: if I want to see a couple rich giggling cunts talking about whatever minutia gets them through their day, I'll go hang out at the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble).
