A guy who bought my Doom GBA cart for $25 messaged me that after buying it. Now, my specific instructions was PayPal only. What do I do?

This guy needs to go to an English school or something, although his info says he's from the US.

That's crazy. He needs a new keyboard, one where the spacebar works. But hey, Paypal only is Paypal only. The only exceptions I make to that are for good DPers. >_>

If it were me and I didn't need the money right away for another purchase or a bill I would just tell him to send a money order. Otherwise you have to wait for him to get a Paypal account or relist the item and wait for the auction to end.

Then again you could give the next highest bidder a second chance offer. As long as it wasn't a BIN.

I feel for you man. I hate it when people don't follow simple instructions.

Thing is, it WAS a BIN. So this pisses me off. I'll ask for a Postal Money Order I guess.

Yeah, tough situation. If you can accept money order, that's real nice of you, but you don't have to do it.

    Strange, strange message, though. Yeesh.

Tell him to pay via BidPay money order. It's a lot safer than accepting one from the gas station down the road and it's a lot quicker since he doesn't have to leave the house to buy and send it to you.

Well, I like Postal Money Order because it's fast, and I don't think it can be bounced.

If you go into your sellers preferences, you can make it where someone HAS to have a paypal account in order to bid on your auctions. I would tell him sorry I only take Paypal, relist it, and get your fee back.

It’s too bad eBay doesn’t have any entry requirements! You never know who you’re going to deal with. For all you know this could be a young kid or a man with the mental capacity of a kid.

As for your problem, I normally allow for money orders and personal checks to be used for payment and have never had any problems. I make it clear that the that the item won’t be shipped until the check/order clears. Hell, I even had a money order issued by the “meat packers union or Pennsylvania” that was sent as payment. When I brought it the bank they said it would take 1 month to clear because they had never seen something like it. 1 month later I sent out the package and all was good.
Check out HitpointZ.com to see all my items for sale!

Well, about Bidpay - I've told bidders to pay with Bidpay but they say that they're not registered and would rather pay with Paypal (dammit!)

I only have a seller's Bidpay account - is a buyer's account that difficult to obtain?

I'm pretty close to just ditching Paypal altogether, and I want to make sure it is easy for people to start using Bidpay instead.

Well, if I don't get the Postal Money Order in a week, I will do that. Where is the option of requiring buyers to have a PayPal account? I don't see it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. However, what if the guy leaves me negative feedback? Despite counter-attacking with the fact that he doesn't have a PayPal account and that my instructions were PayPal only, he can still leave me negative feedback if he so pleased.

you need to file a nonpaying bidder's complaint, and then go through the "process" and then they will reimburse you your fees.

Actually, he did. My college address. I had to tell him where to send the money order to.
