Default Saturn problem. Please help A.S.A.P

I got a import Saturn, and using the Action Replay Plus 4 in 1 RAM cart. I first plugged it in, put the game in, and start the game. It either takes me to the CD menu, or just stays at the Blue Sega font with black background. What's happening? Please help. Thank you.

I dont know is this will help you or not, but I had a similar problem with a different import-enabling cart. I cleaned the cart and it helped. Also, my cart has to be in the slot juuust right.... But it works!

Take the cart out and try to re-seat it in the slot. It must be in before you turn it on. It should do the Sega splash screen then go to the AR menu. If it doesn't go to the AR menu then try the first step again. You could have a faulty cart or worse... cart slot.
    What have you done America?
