Xbox 360 for $$$, real?
My dad heard about this on the radio today, that a guy bought a xbox360 for a sick price on Ebay. I guess its one of these 2 autions, but is it real?

Am I missing something? the people who won the pepsi promo packages and turned around and sold them on ebay, werent even getting some of the prices now on ebay. People could've got a better deal a week ago, BEFORE launch.

I thought i saw the limit when i saw a premium bundle get bid up to $5,100 by some newbie.
But then, if it's worth it to them, it's OK. Just don't expect to get over $300 when you trade it into EB.
This was on my local news last night. They were reporting on how so many people had waited for so long outside of stores here and in new york. They also continued to beat on how many people preordered and could not get their systems due to not enough being made by Microsoft and they were blaming that as the reason that these systems were going on eBay for over 4 or 5 thousand dollars. I believe Jay Leno also commented on this last night on his show. He mentioned how it must of been like the ultamit geek fantasy dream to be one of the first people in TimeSquare to get their XBOX 360 and get to play some games on a 360 with Bill Gates, "It was awsome.. It's like having sex with a girl or something" he said! lol! ID10Ts, all the people who are spending so much on these now, they WILL get more in stores for only a few hundred compared to 10+ Thousand, and over time the price WILL drop, as with all systems.
I will get around to editing this thing again.
This is out of control. Everytime some idiot spends thousands on a system and a website or news station comment on it, Bill Gates gets exactly what he and his corporate goons wanted...free advertising.
Someone should email some of these suckers that are paying this much for these and ask them if they are serious or just fucking around. Because seriously, I saw a bunch of XBOX 360 premium systems go off today for under $1000. And these were from honest sellers with nicely listed auctions. These will be all over stores within weeks, and the launch games arent even that good. People just amaze me.
Heres a little conspiracy theory for all you to think over: Maybe Bill Gates had a bunch of his Microsoft goons manipulate a bunch of these auctions on eBay to get everyone talking about it. Unlikely, but wouldnt be impossible.

One of my friends was in line at Walmart and this lady came up to my buddy and offered him $500 for his spot in line. He took the money and left. Who needs the 360 but I wouldnt doubt it if I get one sometime down the line. Not like I really give a fuck about it...but hey...you never know.

Both of those auctions seem fishy to me. Go look at the way they bid. They seem realistic up to about $1300 or so on each one. Which is still a ridiculous price but way more realistic than $10,000. Then all of a sudden two people with low or zero scores come out of no where on each auction to drive it up over $10,000. Either shill bidding or some other scam is going on. Or maybe we just have some eccentric millionaires bidding on these auctions. Either way i dont understand.

The winners of these auctions still havnt recived feedback. Wonder if they payed.
One of the sellers is NARUed, most likely because of the huge fee after the final price. If he really got the money for the xbox360 i think he would pay the fee pretty quickly.
