Xbox 360 system colors

Microsoft's website seems to be implying that the core system and the premium one are, in fact, different colors. I know that the faceplate is different, but the whole system? That seems a bit unusual for a launch system (except for the Cube and various portables, of course). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Anyways the unit bodies are the same color the only difference is the chrome finish on the disc tray.

Ahh...so that's what they meant. I kinda like not having the chrome finish - the whole thing being white is a beautiful thing.

On the topic of colors, what do you think the odds are of new colors being put out for this thing? A green, clearish system for Halo 3, anyone?

I'd say they're almost certainly going to do a special Halo 3 edition.

I like the solid white with the original faceplate, but I think the chrome will fit in better with every other faceplate.

It would be cool if the Mountain Dew give aways were lime green like some of the original Xbox systems they gave away a year or 2 ago.
