Just rounded 300 the other day, 90% of them being Japanese imports on everything from Famicom to Xbox 360.
About 500 games total.
Consoles collecting for include:
NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, DS
Genesis+CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, XBOX, XBOX 360, Atari 2600
3DO, Turbografx-16
Also have a few Coleco Vision games and a C64 game, which I don't have consoles for.
I got stuck on 434 for a little while now. Right now I'm going through a quality control phase before I get too far ahead of myself. Just replacing some games that aren't in the condition I want them to be in or re-buying loose games with boxes and manuals.
Been 4 months since I updated, so here's a new top 5:
1. 441 Microsoft Xbox (newest addition - Voodoo Vince)
2. 307 Atari 2600 (newest addition - Miniature Golf (text label))
3. 286 Sega Genesis (newest addition - Shining in the Darkness)
4. 151 Sega Dreamcast (newest addition - South Park Chefs Luv Shack)
5. 134 Sega Saturn (newest addition - Galactic Attack)

just hit my 14,000th game! (including variants and compilations)
Number 14,000 = Alien Vs Predator Hunter Edition 360
Now, if only I had enough space to get all my old collections out for display :S
All I have out right now is Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, DS, PSP and a handful of PC games. The rest (including my Saturn PAL complete set and my almost complete Sega Mega CD CD collection) is up in the attic.
Xbox 360 now stands at 287 retail, 271 XBLA, 3 protos, and 1 XNA!
According to IGN (where I always log my stuff, since the collection function died here)
I have 2190.
This thread makes me feel much better about myself. I decided to do a quick count of my games, since I just organized them all to make them easier to access. I hit 500 and realized I still had a few stacks to go, so I thought I was losing it and started the count over again. Ended up at 614 (give or take), not counting downloadable titles (that would up it by 60 or so), 95% of which are (relatively) complete. It freaked me out a bit. Time to do some weeding down, even though I find myself looking at more games every day anyway.
The worst of it is that I don't collect what I don't want to play, and at this point I'm not sure if I could even play all these games in my lifetime. Go, go gadget kids?
Too many.

Sitting here at my desk there are over 70 in just intellivision games all in original boxes like new. Roughly double in that with the atari 2600 to my left and that's before i get to the new in box nintendo deluxe edition with duck hunt and rob starting my main collection to the right. Having to guess roughly 3,000 all in original packaging and most still with the cellophane complete and intact. I stopped buying games after 97 but i'm slowly getting back into it since there is still time for more and now they are much cheaper.

Last edited by Steve W; 04-28-2014 at 04:41 AM. Reason: Adding a few more into the list
As of right now, I have counted 138 games spanning across NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Wii, PS1, PS2, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA, and GameCube. I didn't add in my Saturn games or all of my 360 games yet, so it's probably close to the 150 - 160 mark.
My collection is small, as I've just started back up collecting, so here's the breakdown:
NES - 13 Games
SNES - 32 Games
Sega Genesis - 8 Games
Sega CD - 1 Game *
Sega Saturn - 11 Games *
Sega Dreamcast - 2 Games *
N64 - 4 Games
Wii - 3 Games *
XBOX 360 - 20 Games *
Gameboy/Gameboy Color/GBA - 8 Games
PS 1 - 15 Games
PS 2 - 23 Games
GameCube - 9 Games
* = I either have more and didn't count them in yet or I've lost some and I can't find them. One's I'm missing are from the Sega CD and Dreamcast (this is due to me moving last year and can't find those games, or my Sega CD unit). The 360 and Wii games are on the shelves in my living room and they're hidden behind large Lego Star War sets, so I will plan on getting to those tonight or tomorrow.
