Default Contact Cleaner Pencils from Radio Shack

Has anyone here ever used these? I was looking at these and some of the other cleaning things there and I noticed that both are on clearance. One was $2.99 and the other was $0.48.

The cheaper one is called edge connector cleaner and protector. It seems the only difference bettween the two is the cheaper one includes isopropanol, polyphenyl ether and dye. The $3 one only had the isopropanol in it.

Also, I have a few other console and game cleaning questions. I was thinking of getting some of this contact cleaner. Do you think that stuff would be good for cleaning the console's contacts? My other question is: is it okay to get the 91% pure alcohol or should I go for the anhydrous stuff? I was wondering if it makes that big a difference. 91% is as pure as I've found locally. I searched online and the places that make it locally wouldn't likely sell it to me. I thinking about trying to find where the schools get their chemistry supplies.

I'd like to know too. Is there any difference between the DeoxIt from Radio shack and the stuff from Newark? I was thinking of just picking up the double pack at Radio Shack. Also can you use this stuff on a system's contacts and not just the game contacts?

This is a great question and I was just thinking about getting this stuff too. Does anyone know if the deoxit/ progold combo from RadioShack is ok for use on game carts and systems?
