I've seen it rather cheap in my local Easy Cash store and I wonder if I should buy it? What kind of game is it and is it any good? Any info appreciated...

Here's a good review of it.

Here's a bit less enthusiastic one.

The reviews sound ok, but I'll guess I'll not buy this game. I'm very short of cash at the moment. Or I could buy it and re-sell it. It seems to be not that common... Anyway, thank sofr the links!

The game is totally HARD. My vote for one of the hardest games on the system. It will totally kick your ass.

Ye, the game is pretty hard. I just tried it for 5 mins or so, never really "tried" to play it if you know what I mean. I didnt complete the first mission tho lol.
it a good game but hard, the first 2 levels will test you,it took me ages to do,i think the first star wars was better as for return of the jedi well its the same as empire strikes back-solid
I thought Return of the Jedi was never released for the NES?Originally Posted by blackpanther

I played this game constantly before I even learned to read, hahaha. I played it to death for months and months (probably years even, iirc) and I never actually beat it. I got far though. Its hard as hell, but its got character and if you've got patience and some skilll, you may end up having a real good time playing it.
In a land beyond sight...
ESB is pretty darn good, but it is very hard. I can get to Dagobah pretty regularly, but there is a fly monster in the swamp that kills me every time. I love the game, though. The controls are a little tricky, but overall I'd say it is definitely worth it!
SO not the Drama.
Correct. According to Lucasfilm Games / LucasArts development was about half completed before the release of the SNES, so the abandoned RotJ on the NES to begin the Super Star Wars series. A prototype of the NES RotJ development workversion is my ultimate holy grail... if only it existed.Originally Posted by Flack
