Default Any problems with the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter???

Post your reviews of the wireless adapter for the Xbox360 here. I am thinking about getting one, but $100 is hard to shell out. Possible Xmas gift for myself.

Heres a link to what the hell, Im talking about.

Supposedly the Xbox 360 one is optimized for streaming video content/other media to and from the 360. Probably just a crock, and even if it does help out, the difference probably isn't that much.

That being said, don't pick up a Linksys Game Adapter. Those things are crap. The old Microsoft G adapters are excellent, but don't support WPA.

And a bridge can be difficult to set up for console use.

I got the 360 wireless adapter, and I've been using it for about 2 days now. I haven't had much chance to play it that much, but so far it appears to be working pretty good. I'm pretty far away from the wireless router, and my upload speed is weak for some reason from my Comcast connection (has nothing to do with the 360 wireless thing), but so far it hasn't really cause me much problems.

If you have a good signal, from your wireless router, and you can get a good upload speed, it should be fine.

I have one of those, and it does lack features that other bridges have, especially when setting it up. But it works fine. Never had any problems with disconnections or anything, and it works just as well with a 360 as the old Xbox I had it hooked up to. I only paid $30 for it, so I'd consider it over the $100 MS adapter if looks aren't an issue. Don't know if WEP is tough to set up with the adapter though, as I usually just control my MAC address access. Easier to configure when friends come over.

Really? I was just going by reviews and such. My friend has one, seemed to work alright. There have been problems (apparently) with people setting them up. Linksys tech support supposedly isn't very helpful.

Oh, and another option to consider:the D-Link GamingFuel line of wireless networking equipment. It's very expensive, but specifically engineered for games.
