    Default Yes....

I use it. It is quite handy, but you need to manually enter most information these days. It used to grab information from some a couple websites (or was it one/), now it only grabs from Amazon.com it you usually need to edit what it downloads. Yet, it has many useful features. Reports, sort games in numerous ways (e.g. - can print out a list of RPG's for all systems).

Supposedly they are creating a database on their site for updating your games, but they claim it'll be awhile.

It's better than using Excel, but if your really, really good with Excel you can do almost the same thing...

It's not a bad program if you're willing to input everything by hand, but that's a pretty tall order. As mentioned above, it was awesome when it pooled info from sites like All Game Guide and Mobygames, but only getting info from Amazon.com makes the lookup feature a waste.

On the plus side, the fields are customizable, and if you're really a listing freak, you can set up collections of magazines, accessories, systems, promo items, demos, or and other game-related items. Plus, there are a TON of fields for detailing product to the smallest detail, from the date you bought it and the price you paid, to where the title is within your game room.

If they implement a good database search function, it'll easily be worth the $40 or whatever they're charging for it these days. Right now I'd tend to shy away if I didn't have it already. Just keep in mind that it'll be a LOT of work to input if you have a lot of games.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

I use it, but like oob said there's a lot of by hand data entry. Although i'm getting a Cuecat and that should definitely make things quicker.

i ended up going to http://vgrebirth.org/ and made one there for now, but i'd still be nice to have a hard copy though, and i've already got excel so forking over 50 bucks that could potentially go towards more games seems more feasible at this point
