Default Urgent help required re:360 HDTV setting

I borrowed my friends xbox 360 to try on my HDTV last night. He has a normal composite PAL TV and had his console set up accordingly. When I hooked it up to my TV I set it to HDTV 480p. Now he has his console back the thing is set to HDTV and doesn't seem to allow him to turn it back to a normal composite signal. We have hooked it back up to my TV and can't find any setting to change anything other than screen format or different HDTV settings (480, 720 & 1080). Help!! He is (rightly) really pissed off! Thanks in advance, P

Hiya! There is no switch on the cord. I presume the switch is only on the US cords. I looked at the official forum and saw the same suggestion - that's when I looked for the switch. And I didn't ahve to flick any switches to make HD in the first place...

Thats odd because all the HD cords are suppose to have a switch on the end. It has to be something simple in the settings. Can you even switch the TV type in the 360 menus?

It definately doesn't! I've looked again...

PS: sorry 'bout posting this here - I didn't even notice there was the new section. Doesn't bode well for finding switches on cable, eh!?!?
