Default Received a Broken Turbo Duo off ebay- Repair Help Needed!

    Hi everyone,

A friend of mine received a broken Turbo Duo console off ebay and is requesting a little help to fix it.

Apparently the lazer got stuck and once it moved, the games were unreadable.

If anyone thinks they have some helpful advice please let me know. Thank you all very much for your time.

Could be mechanical, could be optical. Does he have parts to swap out for testing?

First, I'd check if the power leads to the motor, they're usually very light gauge wires and tend to loosen over time.

If that all looks fine, try turning the plastic gears by hand to move to lens out a bit, then turn it on and see if it resets its position.
