Heroes of the Pacific and Secret Weapons over Normandy are the only two i can think of, and they barely register as sims only because they have settings for advanced flight control schemes nothing more.

Not many good, realistic flight games on Xbox for some reason. Stay away from Secret Weapons Over Normandy. That has worst control of any flight game I've ever played. Feels like you're driving dump trucks on ice. Wings Of War is pretty horrible too.

I've never played the Xbox version but Air Force Delta Strike is pretty decent on the PS2, so I imagine the Xbox version would be just as good. Not really a sim but still. And I see that there is a game called Flight Academy coming out for Xbox that sounds interesting. No release date though, so I have no idea when it's coming out.

Not really much to choose from on the Xbox. If you got a PS2 though, you should check out Sky Odyssey, Aero Elite Combat Academy, and Ace Combat 4 & 5 (with flight stick) for choice sim flight action.

secret weapons has great control, you really feel like your in a 60 year old aircraft that's barely advanced enough to stay off the ground, comparing it to a jet-fighter type game of course it'll feel sluggish, it would have no credibility whatsoever otherwise.

I've got nothing against flight games featuring older planes (like Normandy). In fact, I prefer them to jet combat games. Normandy plays like garbage though. There is absolutely NO sense of speed at all in the game. Feels like you are piloting a hang glider. That combined with the crappy camera makes trying to shoot targets completely frustrating and not fun at all.

While we're on the subject, has anyone played Heroes Of The Pacific? I haven't heard much about it but the screen shots I've seen look incredible. Plus it's from Ubisoft, so it's gotta be good. Is it?

Airforce Delta Storm was great at the time, though the random encounter map terrain is lousy. Some of the dam assault/etc. maps look really good, however. Oh, and you can purchase Twinbee/Vic Viper! Huge selection of aircraft in this game; it kept me occupied for a long time. Cheap title now, too.

I kinda liked weapons over Normandy.

I realize its not ultra realistic but its... I dunno iin the category in my opinion.

Ive been looking for Delta Storm... While on the Subject of modern Jet stuff vs. Prop planes.. Please Developers... WWI flying games plz?

Id also love some historically innacurate fighting too. Like getting to fly a Vietnam Era Intruder during the battle of the bulge...

or a P-51 Mustang at Waterloo. Yes I actually spend time thinkign about these things.

ok here are few Japan only titles - who know when they will be released in Western market...

    Flight Academy
    Petit Chopter

And although it's strategy title it does feature the flight mode.

There are no Xbox flight simulators in the United States.
