    But they did great!

    I got:

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle - Game Cube
    Galaga - NES
    Donkey Kong Classics - NES

    Merry Christmas everyone.

My SS was mizarkgram, who managed to send me a few things off my list. I got a nice case for my Atari Lynx, Veigues - Tactical Gladiator and Victory Run for the TG-16, and Super Monkey Ball for the X-box. It was a nice package. All stuff I needed/wanted. Thanks!

You're welcome, geelw! I read somewhere that you're big into demos and I hope you don't have those. You'll also have to let us know if Shadow of the Colossus lives up to all the hype it's getting.

My SS was goatdan and I got a nice haul again this year. I got:

    Pole Position II (7800)
    Headhunter Redemption (Xbox - Complete!)
    Chip's Challenge (Lynx - Complete!)
    Steel Talons (Lynx - Complete!)
    Super Skweek (Lynx - Complete!)
Crystal Mines II (Lynx - Complete!)

How'd you know I'm starting to work on building my Lynx collection?

Cool Herders (Dreamcast) - I really, really need to finish up on my Dreamcast games...now I know where to buy the "indies" that I'm missing!

Tempest 2000 soundtrack - Like Sniderman, I've recently gotten in to game soundtracks and have picked up a couple from the local used CD place. Thanks Dan for fueling my latest addiction.

A Donkey Kong plush (which my 1 year old daughter has laid claim to...to go along with the 3 foot Mario she "stole" from me ).

Something called a Stage Figure from one of the Mario games. I've seen these on ebay and have been meaning to get some...now I just need the others I see listed on the back of the box.

    Also got:

    Metal Slug: 1st Mission (NGPC)
Pokemon Blue (GB) - Pokemon is a guilty pleasure of mine.
And finally Sonic 2/Sonic Tails for the Game Gear.

Thanks Dan! And Merry Christmas to everyone.
All right youngens, bath time. Cover up your eyes and drop your britches! Who wants wax?

    Thanks Rick Weis, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Glad you liked my package! i noticed on your on-line collection page (DUDE, that is one hell of a collection you have!!) that you had 1 import VB game, so i took a chance that you would want the tetris game.

not that i had ever been to an Atari service center back in the days. but if you did and bought something, they put those items in those bags.

i would have liked to got you a NES game also, but with all the NES games you have, i had a hard time figuring out what you did not have.

    Merry Christmas!

    Rick

    HYDR0X IS A GOD!

I was absolutely pissed off/frustrated on the 23rd of December, My SS present hadnt arrived just yet and i was starting to think my SS had sent it too late, or not sent at all...
However, early morning on the last possible day to recieve presents... Im woken up by the Door Bell... My dad runs down to answer it as im waking up... Hoping its my SS box, i await my Dad to come back upstairs, however, he didnt for about 5 minutes... So i went back to sleep frustrated, thinking my SS gift hadnt arrived...

Anyways a few mins later, my dad comes into my room, wakes me up and says "There is a Xmas Present here from Germany"
I thought, this could only be one person! Hydr0x!!!
Me and Jan get on particularly well, so i let the parcel lateness slide Especially after i saw what was inside...
It took me a good while to get in considerign his mad parcel sealing methods, which are evil when faced half awake!

    Sealed Spiderman Vs Xmen
    Clayfigther 2
    NHLPA Hockey 93
    TimeCop
    Super Battletank
    Super Off Road
    Quake
    GC Kiosk Disc
    PS2 Demos
    DreamOn Collection Disc Sealed

Jan, you went OTT on me! I really appreciate it!

Have a Good Xmas All! And i hope my SS likes what i got him, i had real real trouble finding stuff over here from his list, but ive done my best! Enjoy!

Your collection is pretty impressive! I'm glad I was able to find a few you were missing.

My SS was Geelw, and he sent a big box of goodies. I got:

    -Doom 3
-Making of Doom 3 (cool promo dvd)
-A big bundle of cool schwag, including a fatality t-shirt, an xbox nametag band, a neat clock
-A pile of demos (DDRMax2, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts, Socom II, MTG: Battlegrounds, and two microsoft demo discs)
    - The most pimp PS2 controller I've seen, made by Logitech with leather grips... I'm sure Snoop Dogg uses the same controller with his PS2

The controller was a great surprise, the analog sticks died on mine literally two days ago! And I'll be cracking into Doom 3 once I get home. Thanks, geelw!

PapaStu, I hope you're happy with what I sent - to be honest, this was an off-year for me as SS. I really wanted to put more time and thought into the gift but life with the store has really cut into my time! Next time we meet I'll hook you up bigger - consider it a "second gift" to supplement this year's!

My SS was "le geek" and he sent a veritable cornucopia of gaming goodness my way. Game Boy games, PC games, various knick-knacks... it was like opening a Pandora's Box of sweet electronic goodness. THANK YOU muchly for the awesome gifts!

    Merry Christmas, all.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas.
    Hey BigDaddyChester,

I guess I forgot to put my name in the package, so I'll annouce it here! Glad you got some stuff you needed and wanted! It was nice buying for someone that has the same collecting tastes as I do. Ironically, I didn't actually have an Xbox box, but I ended up with 2 of them right after getting your list! I guess it was just meant to be!

Anyway, Have a Merry Christmas and great New Year! Enjoy the gaming!

I'm not exactly sure who my SS was this year, but they sure hooked me up good! I got both Resident Evil 2 and Ghost in the Shell for PS1 but also Yoshi's Island for SNES! Both my PS1 and SNES collections are pretty sad, so these are all great additions! Now if I can just pry Yoshi's Island away from my girlfriend and play it myself, I'll be happy!

Thanks again and let me know who you were!

Mark Ecko's Getting Up "Still Free" T-shirt
1 pair red Nintendo fuzzy dice, still wrapped (suitable for display)
    SNES Super Black Bass CIB
    DC Omikron: Nomad Soul CIB
PC King Kong: Official Game of the Movie demo disc
handmade card wishing a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Thanks Lady Jaye- you ROCK!!! (& rockin' is half the battle! )

& will there be a "what ELSE I got for Xmas" topic?
I'm glad you're happy about the package! I was worried that you wouldn't receive it on time for Christmas, since I waited a bit much to ship it.

And you're lucky: I almost shipped Omikron without the disk. I bought the game from my friend Frank, who owns a videogame store, and even though he took out the disk when I bought it, he forgot to include it in the box. Good thing I checked the jewel case before packing...

I don't know whether the King Kong PC demo is in French or in English, but it could make a nice original demo disk for someone in the US.

@Aussie2B: yeah, the anime is up my alley alright. I haven't listened to the music CDs yet, but that's pretty cool.

DDcecil, glad you liked your stuff.

PDorr3 was my SS and he gave me the phatty hook-up:
(listed in reverse order of awesomeness)

-Nintendo Power Advance - Premiere Issue!!!
-Videocade - Galactic Invasion 2011 (NIB)
    -MadCatz - N64 Rumble Pack
    -Sonic toys
    -Starwars Stortrooper Action Figure (NIB)
-Die Cast Darth Vader Key Chain
    -Atari 2600 - Star Raiders (NIB w/controller!!!!!!!!!)
    -Coleco/Atari Joystick Pack (NIB)
    -Frogger Handheld
    -NES - Megaman 5

    A few things to say:
-Each individual item was wrapped seperately!!! This was so much fun to open so many gifts.
-How did he know that I liked Star Wars so much?!?
-I have been hunting for Mega Man 5 for a long time. I have had all the other mega man games for a while and just needed this one to complete my mega man mini-collection. The worst part is that I have bought this game once and I also recieved it as a SS present last year. The one that I bought got lost in the mail and the one from last year's SS just up and disappeared so to have this one in my perminent possesion (Hopefully) is a major relief.

Anyway, thanks a lot Peter. You went overboard.

Merry Christmass everone. I already can't wait till next year.

I have to admit I openened mine on accident quite a while ago. I receive 2-3 packages per day every day, every week, so I don't check before I open them

Anyways, I forget who gave it, but it was great, a lot of stuff I really needed. 2 new game.com games including Monopoly, Gorf for the 5200, and a few others. I'm just glad it was all stuff I really needed on my want list Merry xmas all!
