    Default Excitebike question

I have a copy of Excitebike that has no liscense # on the cart. I also have a near mint box/manual for Excitebike. Now what I am wondering for this and other Nintendo made games is if the boxes for the game with or without the liscense # were the same. I'm trying to match these carts up with boxes and want to make sure to get it right.

    Thanks,
    mdk

i think this came down to what stock of boxes and carts they had...i dont know that every box without a license number would have an unnumbered cart, or that every black sealed box would have a black sealed game...

in other words, i think matching boxes to carts wont necessarily give you the combination of when it was newly purchased.
