Has anyone else noticed this with the PS3?
Why would they choose 7? Why not 8?
Maybe it's just me but I can't imagine 7 player split- screen. Possibly in sport games but still 7 is an awfully strange numeber to choose.

I beleive that 7 is the maximum number of simultanious connections that the BlueTooth standard allows and that's why it's the PS3 max.
Honestly i can't see more then 4 being used outside of Wrestling and team sport games.
Bomberman.

Yeah but 8 seems better
4 players on this screen, 3 on this one. doesn't seem quite right.
Is there a way to hardwire a controller to the system? Maybe you could have 1 wired and 7 wireless for the full 8.
A WarioWare-esque game wouldn't go amiss in my opinion.
