    Default Weekend Finds 14th/15th January

At a particular gamestore Amy Rose would be familiar with:

    MegaDrive F117 Nightstorm boxed/complete, $AUS6
    MegaDrive Hard Drivin' boxed/complete, $AUS6
PS1 Mary Kate and Ashley Crush Course $AUS7.50
    PS1 Silent Bomber, $AUS10
    PS1 Tiger Shark, $AUS10

    At Canning Vale Cash Converters:

NES Total Fun Pak boxed/complete and extra catalogues and stuff, $AUS5 - this'd be for trade
    PS2 Age of Empires 2, $AUS25

I've wanted AoE for about a million years.. it's as rare as rocking horse shit around here, except the one second hand copy I saw in an EB a while back for $AUS90.

Steemps, I'm going to assume this is Willetton. :P The sales they have on at the moment are excellent, aren't they?

I nabbed a complete Parappa the Rapper for PSX and a complete Castlevania DS. Yay for great games!

If I didn't have a blazing headache, a bad memory and a small budget, I'd probably get a few more of them PS1 games... 50% off = great times!

Super Dodge Ball MVS kit complete for $5. Ok, you got me, I got it for $80 but to me that’s still an amazing deal.

A friend contacted me out of the blue last night, offered me a few games. So I bought Popful Mail: $20, Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls (new): $5, and Golden Sun (new): Lost Age: $5.

Already had the GBA games, but for $10 could use the bait.

Just got this in a few hours ago. Had to hurry to tote it over to my place because it was startin' to rain. Thankfully it just started pouring after we got to my place instead of while we were en route.

It used to be a Tekken 2 cabinet. Now it houses good old Tekken Tag. Everything is in good working order from what I tested at the former owner's place.

The only thing I want to do is replace the stick/buttons and the plexiglass on the control panel. After that it should be good to go for regular play!

Price? Just had to trade some shoes for it(I collect sneakers as well)...

    Real deals from real thrifts:

Neo Geo Pocket games! Never seen these in the thrifts before!
Got Sonic Pocket in a case with the cover torn off and the manual for Japanese Pocket Tennis and a complete Japanese Soccer game (something '98). $6.50 for both of those.

Sealed Joshua and Spiritual Warfare for Genny. $7 for both of those.

Walked away from a $10 Colecovision because it had no power supply. Also passed on two Sega CD model 2 units, one loose for $10, another with a Model 2 Genny, all the works and some crap games for $29, I think.

Unrelated, but a damn good deal, got a near mint first season of the Sopranos for $19 at the pawns. Also picked up a really nice Superscope 8-track deck for $6.50.

    Good day.

First off, very nice find. Second, were these shoes golden? I didn't think anyone would/could collect shoes, and after some thought the only thing I could come up with were perhaps a ton of variations of Converse All-Stars. So, what ever were they?

They were some Jordan shoes... shoes actually go for... A LOT of money.

Look up on ebay Jordan Nike and Nike SB... you'll see how much collectibility there is for those darned things.

Things can get as crazy as 5 digits if ppl have the rare stuff.
