Yes.
Although someone once said they can transfer files from computer to computer, aswell. I would not try this, though.
I would doubt that a magnet could harm a cartridge that uses mask ROMs, SRAM backed up by a battery, or flash ROM. EPROMs, possibly, but I'd doubt that too. Magnets are most deadly to magnetic media, so games on floppy disk would be the most vulnerable to magnet damage.
and HU cards! KEEP EM AWAY FROM THE SPEAKERS AAAGGHHH

Those cards are like credit cards. If they're next to a strong enough magnet (like an unshielded speaker), they can get damaged/demagnetize and they won't work anymore.
Are you talking about TG-16/PC Engine software or the cards commonly used in satellite television decoding?
Does that mean unshielded speakers can be damaged my magnets too?!Originally Posted by EnzoSangiorgio

Lately Ive been wearing a magnetic bracelet for arthritis in my arms/hands, and my DSs right speaker got sort of tinny
Ill probably take it off too play games now.

I have over 20 systems and the games the greater percent of games ARE rom stored and cd stored(or dvd) and those cannot be erased with magnets
also most cards are not credit card like they are more like your digital camera cards now the easy way to tell is if it has metal pin connection pads(ie nes sega atari odessey sms cards etc.)
also to the magnetic bracelet wearer your DS speaker should not be effected but if your bracelet is that strong it still shouldent harm the DS speaker it just puled of the feild of the speaker magnet and coil
