I agree with your last statement - they're gonna sell out of Rev's no matter what they release for it (or come darn close to it). Besides, Mario is their best launch mascot, not Link.

There's still money to be made by taking advantage of the Gamecube installed base and there's nothing like a Zelda game to use that advantage to it's fullest during Xmas time

I really don't mind at all anymore, just as long as it comes out sometime this year. Shit, I think it would be better for Nintendo to release ZELDA for Revolution instead of GC.
Just think how many systems that would sell, added on Smash Bros and another Mario, Rev. would be in good shape starting off.

I dont know if this will sound to good, but being the 3rd Key at Gamestop, We are telling our customers that the game has been officially delayed until SEPTEMBER now. They said that it is going to be playable on the Gamecube as well as the Revolution. This is sad sad news i know, im sorry

Sucks about the delay, but if Nintendo can make this a must-want item later this year along with retooling it for the Revolution, then this delay is warranted.

It will be right after Sony's speach announcing that PS3 games will run on 8-bit cartridges and retail for $1,400.

Definately, the longer it's in production, it can only get better! (Either way, I have already reserved my copy of the game and have already paid in full)
I'D just assume the game come out for Revolution.
