So you're saying that those Mario boxer shorts weren't the sexiest things ever produced? :P

And nowadays people complain about how Mario is whored out in games and franchises. Well back in 1988-1990, you could get any household product with Mario's face on it. They've toned it down since then (Only a few toys here and there), and it's been great. There's just no pleasing people.Originally Posted by Jive3D

I know I wasn't cool back then, but I am chilled by this reminder about what profound levels of uncoolness I might have achieved. Dear $deity, protect me from such things.
And then I saw Pantechnicon's pic.

I totally had that Tiger skateboard when I was a kid.

I remember having that nintendo toy box, used it for comic books.
Did anyone notice that the Capcom Mullet kid is kicking it cool to some Rescue Rangers.
Well, although I notice that a ton of you guys are bashing the stuff in this catalog, I happen to own quite a bit of it.
For some reason I really like NIP vintage Nintendo (Mario/Zelda) merchandise from the 80's-early 90's.
I do find alot of that guys comments absolutely hilarious!
Whoever asked about the Showerhead, I own one of those, but I have never used it because it is NIP, and I can't open it (no matter how badly I really want to. )
Awesome trip back through time with those pages. Thanks for the memories indeed. The captions had me laughing like a little school girl with a crush on Corey Haim.
Those captions just CAN'T be real. They're way too offensive for the 80's to be real! Is there an explanation here? I mean the part about the uncle and cleaning up? This stuff just can't be real. Tell me it is.
Luciano Pavaratti? Beep boop boop beep beep boop??
I have the three ring folders. I've posted pics of them before. Also I have the smaller version of the system holder on page 4.
"Buy this watch because paying attention in church isn't important."
Gotta be fake so why is the site making it out to be real?
Also, wow.. remember when those giant watch clocks were all the rage?
Note to left handers, your just not bad enough... Love this stuff, brings back memories, and childhood dreams of gaming.

The flight stick or somthing top left, is that an official product? I saw it for sale some days ago, but thought it was some poor 3rd party stuff.
lol @ the comment on the powerglove.
Yes, it's officially licensed by Nintendo, released by Beeshu under the name Zoomer. Still pretty crappy quality, though. I'm fairly sure that one of the NES clone companies also released a clone of this flightstick under a different name in the Southern part of Europe, so might ber possible that that's the one you spotted.Originally Posted by jajaja
I'm always looking for new boxed NES accessories. If you've got any for sale, shoot me a PM!
Ok, thanks for the info. Its the exact same I saw, just checked the pics Is it any rare? Worth anything?

ooh, I just noticed that the capcom kid picture has the pennant for the 1989 World Series (the Bay Area series between the A's and the Giants -- during which there was the SF earthquake)...
HOLY FLAMING TOILET PAPER, BATMAN!
Man, they have no style, and I probably would have worn stuff like that back when I was a Nintendo Fanboy. However, somewhere I still have a vintage Zelda shirt from that catalog...

Don't you know? Nintendo is Rad to the Max! They are cool like that! (Points to Page 6)

You know, even though these days I'm mostly into the Sega genesis, I have very fond memories of my childhood with the NES growing up. This really takes me back, thanks for posting it

I still have an upopened package of napkins, the storage unit on the left on the page with the disorganized kid.
I have lots of stuff that wasn't in there too, probably 3rd party (the NES padlock, plastic characters you paint, etc)
I love this stuff. I hope to have everything that was made some day!
Sorry for the boasting post... but you guys are the only people that appreciate my hobby!! hahaha
