Default how much do Neo-Geo memory cards run?

I don't have the slightest idea how much a Neo-Geo memory card costs. Anybody know how much these things go for? Just a loose Neo-Geo memory card.

Sounds about right. Only problem with an official one is that when the battery goes, it's the world's biggest mission to replace it. You have to slice the card open, replace the battery and then glue it back together.

If you're not bothered about an official one, Just get a 1m/2m PCMCIA S-Ram card. It'll hold more NeoGeo saves than you'll ever need, and they usally have a slide-off battery cover so you can replace it easily.

I dont really use mine as it doesn't save your high scores only were you were in the game. So what the point of having a final boss save if you can getthere easily? Seems pointless to me.

I would say you should be able to get one for under $30. I got a brand new one for $30 off ebay, and a loose used one for $15 or so on the neo forums. Granted, these aren't the usual prices, but anything over $30 for a loose one I would consider too much. Of course, if it comes with box/instructions or a soft/hard sleeve, it will cost more.

I sold my loose one for about $18 so there's another loose price for you to measure with

I got mine for $1 so I'd say judging from the data so far between $1-50. Keep an eye out.

Using a PCMCIA memory card, what's the largest amount of memory the Neo can address? And these use SRAM (where would I even buy those)? Would flash memory PCMCIA cards work (much more common)?

Do a search on Ebay. Most 68pin JEIDA S-Ram PCMCIA cards should work.

I can confirm the Panasonic (1/2/4m) ones and Mitsubishi Melcard (1/2m) ones work fine.
