A couple new games are out today. A marble game, Switchball, and a word puzzle game named something unimaginative, like "Word Puzzle".

Switchball is a pleasant surprise...
I liked it alot more than I liked Marble Blast. The physics are very lifelike.
And I confess, I like Word Puzzle. I always buy those puzzle books. The word searches are the first thing I usually do.
Undertow is up. And it's pretty fun, if you can overlook the lame side story and voice acting. The gameplay is a mix of twitch shooter and RTS.
And a bunch of Beautiful Katamari stuff hit the marketplace today, as well.... Kinda pisses me off that we have to pay to unlock those achievements.
For those of you with Tomb Raider Legend, the first four episodes of Tomb Raider Anniversary can be downloaded.
2400 points for both episode packs. (2 packs @ 1200 each)
But they're about 1.6 gigs per pack.....
The achievements are different. The disc version has the standard 1000 achievement points (split up into 32 achievements). The download version will only get you 10 achievements for 250 points. The kicker is the download version adds those 250 points to your existing Tomb Raider Legend score. This sucks seeing as I had 1000/1000 until a few weeks ago. Now it's 1000/1250.

Just a head's up on this thread-Halo 3's new map map launches December 11th for 800 points. Around Spring it'll be made free, in time for the next set of new maps to launch.
Check out the Kleppings!

So is anybody less than impressed with the Buccaneer table? I know that since it was free there's really no cause to complain, but the table design is pretty crappy compared to Agents and Speed Machine. I do like it better than Extreme, though.
It's a shame that the Pinball FX team won't license their engine so someone could release classic tables through XBLA. I'd pay 800 points for an Addams Family, Twilight Zone, etc.
This Wednesday's game(s)
-Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe. 400 points for both.
Two of my favorite arcade games, which I won't be buying becuase Atari has fucked up their past XBLA releases.... Especially Missile Command.
We've gotten lots of stuff since the last post here:
Halo 3 map pack
Arkadian Warriors
Gripshift
Rockband content
Exit content
Forza 2 content
DDR content
Xbox originals
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting.
I haven't had much time but I gave the Arkadian Warriors demo a shot. In the half hour or so I gave it, it played like a dungeon crawler with some cutesy cartoon characters. The gameplay was a bit slippery and it was VERY simple, almost too simple. Imagine a dehydrated Diablo. Kinda disappointing coming out of Sierra Online.
Burnout Paradise Demo is up, about 800 MB.
I downloaded it but didn't get a chance to play it.
