    finds from random places.
I decided to give the sms another chance and boy..do those games suck ass, but at least I can play mediocre games on the go now..wee....

the video tapes were 1$ each, and the binoculers were only 2$ due to a "50% off anything with glass" sale

this is the second gameboy printer i've come across at the same store, now I just need to find a camera and i'm set (anyone have one they want to dump cheap??)

I alos decided to break down and buy a bunch of the re-released psx games that have been clogging the shelves at gamestop, and with the buy 2 get one free sale I think I did pretty well.

and a random thought, persona 2 is one of the best (non-remake) rpgs i've played in a LOOOONG time.

First of all, I want to echo what Max 330 said. I really don't understand why people race to start the finds threads. If you didn't find anything, then I don't understand why you would even be thinking about it. It just seems immature to me.

    Now, on to the finds.

Found this stuff at a few thrifts yesterday.

Thats the original Microsoft Flight Simulator from 1982. It's a spiral-bound softcover book, and an envelope containing the single 5.25" disk is inside, attached to the binding.

Also found the original 1993 release of Warcraft for DOS. I collect DOS games and this was a pretty cool find. Completely complete, too. The previous owner had printed out a FAQ on his dot matrix printer and that's in there too. It even still has the Blizzard Entertainment notepad inside, and I don't think that a single page got used. This was the find of the day for me. Probably not worth anything, but cool as hell IMHO. Sometimes I wonder why I bother collecting for consoles. I get much more excited about computer stuff.

Manual for Microsoft Space Simulator. This game is hard to find. Wish I had found the game too, but this way I have the manual if I want to just d/l the game from an abandonware site or something.

    Super Monaco GP for GG.

    Licensed Tengen Pac-Man.

2 floppy disk holders; one for 3.5" and one for 5.25".

Hitting up a place or two today, so hopefully I find something else!

    Chris

Man, I NEVER find LucasArts games in the wild. The only one I own is DOTT, and I bought it on eBay. And yeah, Old PC game boxes are great.

Its not for that reason. I know this is off-topic and I'm sorry. But the number 69 is for the year that muscle cars where at the peak of perfection.
