    Default Aladdin Cart Output

Anyone here know how much pins an Aladdin cart has? I am not a very technical person; I was just curious if by using this info, maybe some clever hacker out there could make an adapter and stockpile it so anyone who had an/a few/all Aladdin cart(s) could possibly be spared the trouble of finding an Aladdin Deck Enhancer. Who knows, maybe we could all do something really cool w/ this information .

I dont think u can just reroute the pins on an aladdin game. Afaik the enhancer isnt just a pinconverter. You can get one fairly cheap on Ebay anyway.

Looks like it has 36 pins, but that wont help much in making an adapter. Each game only contains the program rom, you need to deck enhancer to get the graphics ram and mmc chip (?). Theres pretty much 4 options:

1 make a board with these circuits
2 hack up another comerica game to add the game socket
3 transplant the prg rom into another comerica game
4 buy the enhancer, they appear on ebay pretty frequently =]

Dude, you can get the deck enhancers new for under $30 shipped on ebay. I just sold one not to long ago actually. Stop being a cheap ass and spend the $30. Unless you make about $2 an hour all the trouble of finding the graphics chips and such are not worth it.
