    Default Game Gear Repair

Anyone find any links or info on typical Game Gear repairs?

I have had several with typical problems:

    No sound.

    No picture.

Powers up with screen power, but no game play.

Powers up with Sega logo but no game play after that.

    Screen scratched- how to buff?

I would bet that this accounts for 90% of broken Game Gears out there that aren't totalled. Anyone?

These two remind me of standard cleaning problems, but Ive never encountered that on a Game Gear personally.

New lens is the nest way to go when the old one is scratched. I can get new aftermarket ones that are perfect replicas.
