i got one on ebay about 2 years ago and now its the same as it was before. Just rebend the pins. unless the connector really does need to be replaced. Disable the lockout chip as well.

Ive tried rebending the pins, but too loose or too tight and it dosent work as desired, i just want something that i know will work, and work good when i put it in. which Pin is the lockout, is it the one on the far right or far left?

I have some actual OEM 72-pin connectors that I got from a couple of authorized Nintendo repair centers that I bought out. They are actual Nintendo parts and not the crappy aftermarket ones from eBay. They are ZIF, so they don't grip the cart too tight like the MCM connectors, and so far I have had a 100% success rate using them. Check my feedback for some other comments about them. I do still have quite a few left. If you are interested, just PM me.
    What?!...Me worry??...HA!!

I have always used MCM pins and they are tight but 8 out of 10 work correct and i sell them only installed at my store. I have had real good luck with them. I tried some new ones about 2 weeks ago from an Ebay seller and out of the 10 I got only 2 worked, they were super loose but they were new! MCM pins cost about $8 each so thats not to bad
If you are ever in St louis stop by my store Trade-N-Games. I have a huge selection of vintage games along with the new systems. Or shop online now www.tradengames.com
