My favorite game packaging is for the Neo Geo Home Cart system. Both oldstyle clamshell and the newer Snaplock cases are way awsomer than anything.

    2nd would be Genesis covers

3rd would be PC Engine Hu Card covers (all my hu's are loose though)

I dislike any cardboard boxes. I thow them out.

Okay - I've always wondered (since we're on the subject of packaging)

Was the Hello Kitty Dreamcast really necessary? I know it's a collectors item... But since gaming is mostly a male thing (I know there are girl gamers, too - I'm just saying there are alot more male gamers in the world than female) what male would honesly admit to owning a Hello Kitty DC?

how 'bout some bad limited or collectors edition packaging?

I was super pissed when I opened my Half Life 2 collectors edition, and found out 1. The T-shirt didn't fit and 2. The schwag that came in the box really sucked... And I shelled out $70 for it, to add insult to injury.
