    Let's say...

One day you win a super sought after item on eBay, and the very next night you're trying to win another item (which you REALLY want and comes on eBay only once in a blue moon)... you then realize... waitasec... that seller was the person I sniped.

Would you try to win the item still, or would you say "As rare as it is... it's not worth it..."

And if this situation REALLY happened to you, what did you do?

I'd probably go ahead and do it.

Sniping is a part of eBay. It's also the smartest way to bid. When I lose something because of sniping, I don't hold a grudge against that person. In fact, I get more angry when I see some guy bidding before the end of the auction.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!

    I'd still go for it.

If he tries to pull some bullshit on me, I'd report him to eBay for breach of contract (or whatever that's called).

I'm confused. Why would I not want to buy that seller's item? Is it flawed?

I've been sniped by DP members and have still been happy to trade with them. What's the difference?

I still stand the same on sniping, if I lose because someone sniped me it's because he went over the max I would pay so I dont care.

    I would still buy from a person I sniped(If I ever sniped)

I understand what you mean, but if a person cant handle being outbid he/she doesnt have anything to do on Ebay. Sure, it might sux, but its no reason not to sell to the person(s) who have outbid them.

It might feel alittl awkward, but the chances that the seller wont sell to you is pretty slim i'd say. I would definitly bid on the item if i really wanted it
