In my case, those chains have no locations nearby. I don't think I've ever even seen a Fry's, and I'd have to travel quite a ways to get to a Circuit City.
Is this the store chain you're talking about?

I think that list of locations is a pretty good reason why people aren't going there to buy this game. I think I must have the wrong chain though.
Nope. Right chain, that's all there are.Originally Posted by Leo_Ames
Game ships today, so if a store near you has it overnighted (Best Buy, Circuit City, the EBGames/Gamestop family all do this with AAA first party titles) it'll be in by tomorrow. Large general merchandise chains are probably going to be a few days delayed (Walmart is occasionally an exception to this).
Circuit City had it in ther Sunday ad for $27.99. So if you have one nearby, go grab it tomorrow or Wednesday or whenever.

To be this good takes AGES
To be this great takes SEGA!!
Picked it up yesterday and am at the beginning of World 5.
Awesome game! Must have for DS owners. Although it looks and sounds new, it does indeed play as a mixture of new and old (which is a good thing!).
I just tried out the multiplayer with a friend at work, and I must say that I'm impressed. The 2 player VS game is suprisingly fun.
Picked my copy up today. I'll give my thoughts later.
My local Kmart had it in the case yesterday so I picked it up. I didn't have a lot of time to play it but I did get to the 2nd world. IMHO it's like a hybird between SMB1/SMB3 with a sprinkle of SMB Deluxe. The graphics and sound are awesome and the minigames are pretty fun. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet but looking forward to it.
I'm playing it now. A little on the easy side so far, but so much fun to play!

I'm annoyed that I can't save whenever I want to. It seems like there's a finite number of times that you can save, because if you go back and beat a castle level a second time, you don't get to save a second time.
Loving it. It is so refreshing to play a new Mario sidescroller. I've beaten the first world and yet I have not seen the Koopa Kids yet. Was that idea scrapped or will I see them later?

I don't think they made the cut.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm a little underwhelmed so far.
It's supposed to harken back to classic NES Mario games plus some spiffy updates, but then they put in all the modern 2D platform cliches, like multiple paths in a level, and backtracking for collectables, which ruins it a little. I'm kinda backtracked-out after finishing Princess Peach. If they really wanted it to be old school, they should've taken out the star coins, and just made it so you run from the beginning to the end without worrying about "missing" something.
I'm loving every minute of it.
The second castle kicked my ass about 6 times.
Awesome.
Time to tackle World 3.

I got this today, and all I have to say is:
2006 Handheld game of the year.
Hands down.
#vbender
The 2006 handheld game of the year will be Yoshi's Island 2.
Dude. YOU CAN DO THE SHELL-ON-THE-STAIRS TRICK. And considering they made the old wall jump a legitimate technique this time, I can't help but wonder if the minus world is in here somewhere too...
Just got off work with this game, cracking it open right after this post...
