Default How are the reproductions of classic games?

    I found 2 sites:

    http://www.gamereproductions.com/

    http://www.nesreproductions.com/

and was wondering if they are any good. I wanted to buy a few and wondered if anybody elese have gotten anything from either of these guys. I thought both were members of this board, but I could be wrong.

Any I should get? Any that I should sat away from?

    Thanks for the help,
    Mason

The second one is a DP member (can't think of the SN), I know that much. Never heard a bad word about him. A few people here have loved their updated copies of Tecmo Bowl.

Both are memebers here. Leonk is one and I can't remember the other. No worries on either, just dont sell the stuff on ebay.

I really wish people would check spelling and grammar. Especially if it's on a website they're trying to sell things from.

Wow, that gamereproductions guy is a tremendous asshole. He's actually watermarking labels that other people made, claiming that making these carts is "legal" (yeah fucking right), and profiting off of the hard work of people like myself.

I don't see how he profits... takes time and he has to pay for the replacement chips himself.

Both sites have the same disclaimers, so basically, you just called them both assholes.

Great way to start a conversation.

Although he IS watermarking other people's labels... I know I'd be a little miffed if I found my "Just Breed" label on there with his website splashed all over it. But it's not, and the ones he is using he may have gotten permission for. I wouldn't know.

nesreproductions does good work. I bought a Recca cart off him a while back, and it came back functioning perfectly and with a neat label on there.

I ordered Earthbound a couple weeks ago, and am now eagerly awaiting the games arrival

I can vouch for nesreproductions. I got three games from him (though someone else bought them for me as Xmas gifts), Super Mario 2 JP, Earthbound and Zelda Outlands. All work wonderfully. The only downside to the other site is that you have to send in your own cartridges now.

    Hey Frank,

I don't even bother fighting fights when it comes to gamereproductions. There's so many things that were done which were WRONG that I can't even begin to explain.

    for example:

    - The Drac's night out label on his site was made by me. I've only posted a really bad image of it on my site. I pitty the buyers that purchase this cart. The image quality is going to look SOOO bad!
    - In the past he tried to rip off people by selling on eBay
    - He posts on other sites as Neonite. Trying to pimp his web site forum (nesforums.net)

As for why I no loger supply the donor carts. Easy.. I don't have time to hunt for them. I'm making it a lot more "low-key" because my full time job has gone into over drive.

I haven't ordered from either site but I've only seen 100% positive reviews from all their customers over the past few months. Both guys are keen to bad mouth each other for various reasons but it's the final product that counts from the buyers point of view. The choice is yours really, I think you'll be pleased with either.

Well, since, yet again (search these forums) Leonk is picking a fight. Here's proof yet again of his lies.

(Oh yeah, and I guess im an Asshole Frank...why, because I did not donate money to you and leonk did?)

Last time I looked, You did not create the label. I did not know you were an author of a book that I purchased to make the label.
