Default Is this a fake sega game?

Hello, I recently bought an old Sega Master System and some games from a garage sale. I have played the games and I am very happy with my purchase. Yesterday however, I noticed that one fo the boxes does not have a bar code for scanning. All of my other games do except this one. I told my friend who said that it may be a fake and to do a search online which led me to this forum. Any help would be appreciated Thank You.

looks legit to me. a lot of the older master system games had stick on barcodes and they peeled off over the years.

Hang-On/Safari Hunt was a Master System pack-in title (it came with the console when it was first released) which would possibly explain the lack of a barcode on the box. I'm not near my copy of the game at the moment so I can't compare, but that packaging looks completely legit to me.

I'm fairly certain its legit. I have the same game and don't recall a barcode on the packaging.

My vote goes in the lagit box too, I've had several copies of that and the only one I currently have looks just like that one.

It is not fake. I have all the US SMS games, and have noticed that one and Hang On / Astro Warrior have no bar codes on them.

It's obviously fake. Just listen to how many of "them" are trying to convince you otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised if you "had an accident" in the future, and wake up to find the "game", as well as this thread, vanished.

Take some pictures with a real camera. Develop one roll, leave the other undeveloped. Stash both in separate places far away from your house, and write a "in the event of.." letter revealing all of these details.

It is absolutely legit, since it was a pack-in software that was bundled with the console when it was first released in 1986 or 1987, and it was not made available separately for retail sale.

Yeah sure. You probably got that off Fox News.
