(sorry about the way I posted, but you can check the listing out at users.ign.com/collection/walrusmonger)

All games are mint and complete, marvel vs capcom 2/kof 99/capcom vs snk are japanese. MvC2 and CvS have spine, KOF does not.

I also have the official agetec arcade stick and official keyboard, as well as a gameshark (to boot imports).

Make offers on the lot of games, this is an all or nothing shot.

    Thanks

Here's a pic, and sorry about the 51 to 49 change, I forgot that 2 of the things in the list were web browsers

Hey there I am interested in Grandia II and Shenmue. Do you have prices you are looking to get for these two games, or shall I throw out some offers?

If nobody's going to make an offer for the lot (understandable if you already own the games and dont need dupes), then can someone please give me an estimate as to what this is worth?

Nobody send $200 offers (someone just did...), that's laughable. PowerStone 2 and the fighting games are probably worth that much alone.

I'm sorry to all the people who sent me offers only to be shot down by me.

I should explain myself a little better before I sell the stuff.

If I'm not selling in a lot, I want current market value for the games.

PowerStone 2 is worth $40+. Don't ask for powerstone 2, and a bunch of other games that are also worth $15 to $25 each, and only offer me $40 shipped.

Don't make offers for the lot if they're going to be super disrespectable lowball. I have had 5 offers for the lot that are under $300 shipped. That's under $6 a game.

I'm not asking for what I paid for these, I bought each and every one of these games on their release date and will never get back the $1000's I put into it.

I am only going to entertain offers on the entire lot right now. I love this collection too much to watch it go piece by piece. I need to sell it.

I will only consider offers greater than $500. $10 a game is by no means asking too much, as I know that my dreamcast collection (besides maybe 5 games) is chock full of top tier titles.

I will have to list this on ebay if nobody wants to send an offer that has a hint of respect for the items in it.

Am I taking too much offense in getting offers of $200 or $250 shipped for the lot?

I'd make an offer on the lot... if I didn't have or not want 40 of the games listed. I would be interested if you split the lot and price the games individually however.

Good luck to you on the sale.

I'll admit, I'm one of the guys who made a lowball offer, yet by no means did I intend to offend because sometimes people will say "sure I want to get rid of it here you go". I really understand your attachment to your games especially if you've had them since release and kept them in good shape. The only problem that I find with buying huge lots is that my finances for games are limited and I've got most of the games listed, now getting my money back, although somewhat time consuming, probably wouldn't be an issue considering you do have some popular titles, but the initial outlay of around $500 plus shipping would hurt badly. That being said you have about 3 games I need that I would pay close to listed prices for and I would treat them with the respect and care that you did. I think the person that's able to buy huge lots is either a gamer with deep pockets or a reseller that doesn't give a shit about the games and wants to turn a quick dollar. It takes some time, but I believe if you want to see your collection that you've worked hard to amass go to some people that will respect it like you did, you're gonna have to split it up. I've had to do that before with my NES collection, I had about 550 games and had to sell them individually (I still have about 100), but they went to people that really wanted/needed them. That being said, going to to Ebay won't be any easier on you, with the various fees they charge and having to sell stuff individually there, you're just doing what you didn't want to do in the first place. Anyhow, sorry for being so long winded, but I wish you the best in your sale and like I said would take ROLW and Cannon Spike if you want to split things up.
    Cheers and good luck

Or you could be in between like me. Buy a big lot and keep a select few of the games you need for your collection then sell the rest off individually. If you don't mind putting the work into it you can get away with breaking even plus keeping a couple games for your collection.

Either way there's an initial large financial outlay and then the work to sell them before recouping the cash back. Don't get me wrong, I've done that before as well, but I've also had money tied up in games that I could've spent on other games that came up when I was trying to move the games from the lot. It's all in what works for the collector. I know people that have $1000 games in their collection and that just seems crazy to me, but it works for them, so there are as many ways to collect as there are collectors.
    Cheers
