Be careful of the cheap clone's. I bought one of the YoBo's and some of the games just don't play right. For an example, in Gauntlet, you can't get out of the first room. You can move through some walls, but you can't pick up any treasure or keys, so you're stuck.

This was a used system, so it maybe wore out. It plays some of the games perfectly. Look around pawn shops and thrifts, I just found an official Nintendo toploader for $6.95 plus tax at a pawn shop. The funny thing is, this place has all of their prices for used games for the same price or more than you can get them new from Wal-Mart .

    Good luck,

    Tony

I hear ya and thanks for the warning. I am just sick of my terrible three,(three original systems that none of the work right) they make me so mad. Any new system would be alot better than any of them. I have checked pawn shops and fleamarkets and all and cant find one thats why im hoping to find one semi cheap on here.

Maybe this is just me overreacting, but I am so jealous that I want to punch you until you die.

Seem to do that a lot.

Anyway, I've picked up toploaders for as little as $5 loose. Also have sold them for around as low as $30 loose right here. (I don't like them, for anything other than easy play of the non-Tengen unlicensed cartridges, due to how tightly they grip the cartridge and the vertical lines interference problem) I'll keep an eye out this week for another one and if I do happen to pick one up I'll let you know. Been having really good luck finding them on Tuesdays (weather permitting) with a few vendors I know at a local flea market.

*free bump for not settling for a Famiclone*

Oh man, I feel bad about this - especially since now it's feeling like we're crapping all over 77punk's thread. To keep this related I want to know around what you're looking to pay, 77punk. More than likely it'll be a loose console only but uses all the same stuff as a toaster NES.
