Nomad/MegaDrive Compatability Question
over the last couple of weeks, i've picked up a few boxed japanese megadrive games at my local swap (herzog zwei, rastan saga II, moonwalker, ghostbusters, golden axe and super monaco gp). all of them work in my nomad except for super monaco. i've cleaned it a few times and adjusted how far i put the cart in the slot, but have only gotten a black screen. is there any known incompatibility between super monaco and nomads, or do i just have a bum cart on my hands? thanks in advance.

Hmmm...Jap carts don't fit into my Nomad. How did you even get them in there? Force em?

actually, except for rastan, i haven't had too much trouble getting the carts into the unit. getting them out is a bit tricky sometimes tho. super monaco actually fits in the best out of the lot...

you're out of luck, l'or. SOME japanese mega drive games from 1986-87 will not work on anything other than a japanese system. a few others:

i know there are more, but i don't have my nomad handy at the moment. oh yeah, maxx- you can fit any genesis or MD cart into a nomad- getting it out is another issue, lol...
Yeah...I tried to squeak one in and I thought I'd break my Nomad when I tried to pull it out! Not worth it to me since I got that nifty convertor cart from you
