    Default Advice on eBay listing...

I'm looking for some advice from the eBay gurus

I have a large lot of random VG stuff that I want to sell as a single lot. I just want to avoid the hassle of breaking it up. There's nothing major at all, just a bunch of small stuff. I know it's a REALLY random lot, but here's a pic:

    The listing of everything is:

    4 SEALED 3rd-party Genesis controllers
    1 loose Genesis controller
    3 loose N64 3rd-party controllers
    1 N64 RF connector
    GG Sonic Chaos BOX ONLY
    N64 Castlevania BOX ONLY
    5 N64 manuals
    5 SNES manuals
    3 NES games
    1 CIB SNES game

My question is considering what's there, how would you list it? What category? What title would you use? Thanks in advance for the advice x_x

    Category - Video Games?
Title? Something like "Video Game lot Nintendo Sega Sonic N64"?

I dunno, you can't get too much in there.

I'd break it up. You get about $10 more per item & that's the compensation for the extra (minimal) time spent.

I don't know - I see some 99¢ items in there. After the eBay listing fee & the winner inevitably paying with PayPal CC, you'll take home roughly a cool nickel on those auctions.

I say keep it as a lot and hope for the best ($20-$30).

Ick. There's nothing that thrilling in that lot, so I'd just post it in "Vintage Games" and hope for the best. I also wouldn't start the bidding very high at all. I'd even consider starting it at a penny just to get the most exposure.

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I'm not looking to get much at all for it. I just want to clear it out and get SOMETHING for it. I was thinking something in the $10 - $15 range plus shipping...is this unreasonable? I would definitely start the bidding out at either a penny or $0.99.

Definitely not. Some random video game auctions inexplicably sell for way more than their total value. If you start it super low and have a good title, it'll take care of itself. Good luck.

So do you think "Vintage Games" would be a better category than "Video Games - Accessories"...?

In this case, I would. If not, you'd have to put it in the N64 Accessories category (not exactly the most happening part of the video game section on ebay), unless you really wanted to bite the ebay fee bullet and put it in the N64 *AND* the SNES Accessory category. There's a ton of people who browse the Vintage Games listings.
