Default Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess DS demo

Okay - I saw this in a Tips & Tricks mag, in the "Auction" section of the Collector's closet.

It was for the DS, but it was a demo for the new Zelda: Twilight Princess game.

I can't find one of these ANYWHERE, but would like one.

Does anyone have any info about this? Where it was made available, if at all; is it limited; where can I get one...

    You know, stuff like that.

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve

    Hey Steve,

It's not a demo so much as a trailer. It was given out to the press at last year's E3. Definitely will be a collectable. I bid on one at the CGE auction last summer, but chickened out as it got higher and higher.

    Cheers,
    Ben

    everything they said...

as for where to get one now, ebay. they show up on occasion, though it's certainly getting to be less and less now. prices range anywhere from $50 to $200 so you never really know. i believe the last two both ended around $75 or $100.

I have one. I've thought of selling it, but the price would have to be right . . .

I dunno though. It is a pretty cool, pretty rare deal, IMHO. If you keep looking, one'll probably show up.

Did it come in any packaging, or just the loose chip/cart (whatever you call those DS games... )

BTW - what price did you have in mind? PM me if you're really looking to sell it.

dwaaahhhh $500 starting bid? $1,000 BIN? That's more than just a little pricey, I don't see a sale in that guys future at all. Atleast start it low so people think they have a chance and then eventually get some fool stuck with it.

It came in a cardboard sleeve, same kind of sleeve the Mario Kart DS game came in with the Mario Kart DS bundle. It didn't come with any instructions. You can see it in the picture of the $500 auction.

    Thanks for the replies all!

$500 is WAY too high for something like this, this close to it's release.

Hell, even a boxed Malagai for the 2600 goes for $1300, and that's a LOT more rare than the Twilight demo.

    Anyway, $100-150 seems more realistic.

    Thanks again for the info.

That little plastic sleeve is kind of neat though - I'd like to get those for the rest of my DS games.
