Can also be a pirate. You will see when you get it
I have a demo for Famicom. mine may be a prototype, but i consider it more a demo
That looks like the Famitsu (a Japanese gaming mag) logo in the upper right. Maybe it's a review copy or more likely a promo or kiosk version? Those would be my guesses.
Thanks for the answers. Can't read Japanese.
But at least it is a great Collector Item and I think it was a good price for it.
Well, it does say DE MO on it in katakana, indicating the English word demo, of course. Also, something about the select and reset buttons and Mikey was mentioned on the label. My Japanese blows, so that's all I can read for now without going home and getting my dictionaries out.
EDIT: I shoulda just looked closer the first time, heh. Can't read the kanji, but it reads Demo (Kanji X2) Round Select. Then it says "Push select button of controller one (something, something, blah) push reset button."
The last line is the one I can't read...the word Demo is listed twice and the word Mikey is in there, but that's all I can read.
As for the Famitsu logo, I don't think it is. Is reads Famicom (Kanji X2 I can't read). The title in the upper left is just Guuniizu 2.

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!
Argg, got it today. So the label is wrong. Its not Goonies 2. Its just Galaxian. And seems no Demo. More a full game. But not sure.Originally Posted by rbudrick

I would never bid so high for just a Galaxian game.
Not sure. I see no screw and have no idea how to open Famicom games (Japanese NES games).Originally Posted by Nicola

Famicom games clip together. There's clips on the left and right edges that have to be pushed in a little bit to open them. I wonder how that game got in a Konami proto case.

Which edges? I push like hell and try many things. I scratch the case much now and nothing open yet. :/Originally Posted by rbudrick
The clips are on the left and right edges along the seam. Practice on a shitty FC cart.

There seems to be a screw under the Lable. I have open 4 clips with hard work, but there is something in the middle from the cartridge which I can't open. I think its a screw, which is under the Lable.
So I can't open the cartridge and already damage the case a bit.
