Default Need help with my Magnavox Odyssey 3000 system

I recently found this thing in my parents storage. It is the system with only 4 games on it. Hockey, Tennis, Smash, and Practice. I remeber it being like Pong. 2 controllers for home and away team. I am missing the adapter for it so I dont know if it works or even if I did how would i go about getting it to work on today's TVs? anyone with info on this would really help. thanks in advance

IIRC you can use batteries...or not. I'm not sure. This is for everyone including you...

    BUY A UNIVERSAL ADAPTOR

you can get them at wal mart for about 8-10 dollars. I've even seen some at biglots for 4 dollars

    Thankyou.

edit: According to the inst, it can use 6 C size batteries, or a 9 volt 100MA AC adaptor.

As for hooking it up to your tv, you need an antenna game swtich. Plug the cord coming out of the MO3000 and put it into the game switch. Hook the antenna gameswitch to your tv, turn it on, and play. ENJOY.

I've ran my Odyssey 3000 off the same set of batteries for about 10 years now. Granted, I don't play it that often, but unless you expect to play some all night pong sessions, the batteries should suffice.

Batteries that old tend to corrode and damage things.
