They don't look that bad. Most of the pictures you have there look like 360 graphics.

    What magazine are these from?

I just don't think much of your opinion, Cmtz. "because with graphics like these it might as well all ready be dead"... this is a stupid, stupid comment to make.

The game looks good, the graphics look good. The scans are poor quality. Most comments I have seen elsewhere are wholly positive.

I suggest you use the money you may have spent on a Revolution... on a brain.

Do you have trouble seening? These graphics could be compared to the PS2. They almost look like Resident Evil for the PS2. By the way these are from Game Infromer.

I like the way it looks. Remember theya re not going to fantastic graphics, but rather awesome gameplay. I still plan on getting one! You also have to remember, this is Nintendo and not some other company. It's all about gameplay!

All I see is a company whose first media appears to come from running hardware rather than prerendered concept art to show what their system could do.

Although since I see no HUD on those shots, I'd say this proves nothing until at least E3 comes and goes.

I guess I don't understand what you're looking for for "good graphics".. realism?

Very true. This could be running from som arcade hardware we do not know of. Was this on Game Informers website? If so can you provide a link to it?

Why use the classic forum when you could have posted this on Gamefaqs?

Pictures look fine to me, and they give a good idea how the Revolution controller could be used.

Big, Fucking, Deal. Look graphics to not make or break a system like the revolution and if you need proof of that look at the DS.

The Rev is being sold on 3 things and 3 things alone: Uniqueness (READ: Controller), Low Cost and The Virtual Console.

It's not being marketed as an all in one next gen graphics smasher, but rather a a truely fun and unique experience. So don't label it dead on looks alone.

And stop posting these in the classic forum because A: It's Stupid, B: it defeats the purpose of the 2 forums and C: You already have enough enemies.

the graphics are pretty fuckin sweet, and you gotta remember this is the first generation of games from the next generation of system

im not one of these graphics whores, i like my games to be addictive and fun hence the reason the past few games i've bought have been retro compilations and 2-d games (metal slug comes to mind )

i cant see the point of people wanting more realistic graphics i mean it make sthe games in no way superior, and damn if you want realsim in say a football game maybe it's time to put that control down and go out and play some football

Cmtz, obviously you got something against Nintendo. The pics look good to be (even as badly scanned as they are), and I personally am looking forward to the system. If you don't like it, just don't buy it.

And, I'm am so sick to death of people who believe that graphics make the game anyway. It is the play that counts - period!!!

Looks awesome - and you certainly won't see that type of environment detail on the PS2 looking good and keeping a high frame rate.

The sweetest part? The controller actually reflects how you're holding the gun. The top pic has the guy holding it sideways, and the onscreen character does the same. The next pic has the girl holding it normally, the onscreen gun is holding hers upright as well. Really neat.

I'll bet these are real screenshots and they are going HUDless.

Hopefully once more people get their issues of Game Informer we'll see better scans online.

EDIT: BTW, truth be told, in screenshots alone, from a normal (non-highdef) source - many PS2 and 360 games are comparible at this point.

The first thing that popped into my mind upon seeing those screens didn't have anything to do with the graphics, but more a "damn, that looks like fun."

Dude I don't know how you can say that those look bad. They look really good to me. Especially for a launch title. x_x I can't wait to play this.

C: You already have enough enemies.
    I'm his enemy.

It reminds me a lot of a light gun game. Actually, I hope that 80% of the Revolution's games are light gun style.

See, when I saw these screens, I thought "Wow, that looks pretty good." I still think it looks nice. IMHO, it looks as good as anything I've seen on the 360. Not better, but certainly just as good. Of course, I kinda thing RE4 on GCN looks almost as good as anything on the 360, so, whatever.

but yeah, it does look like fun!

I'm not the biggest fan of Nintendo (anymore) but i don't really see anything wrong with these graphics. I agree they sorta remind me of 360 graphics.

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

If you think that can run on a PS2, you are smoking crack.

FYI, do we NEED to compare RE4 on PS2 and Cube again? The graphics don't hold a candle.

Agreed those are shitty scans, wait until you see a demo kiosk, then make judgement.
